Volunteer

Have good suggestions for the neighborhood? Get involved in our community today! We encourage you to participate in one of the following volunteer committees, it is a rewarding experience. If you would like to be a part of any of the following committees, please contact Crest Management.

The Modifications Committee reviews all applications for external modifications to any property to ensure that they are in compliance with the deed restrictions. The committee meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm in the clubhouse. Residents are welcome to attend.

Meets at the Clubhouse, once a month, to discuss ideas that would enhance the neighborhood and keep it attractive to current and new residents. The ideas from members of the community are then taken to the Board of Directors for approval.

Meets at the Clubhouse, on an as-needed basis, to discuss ideas to improve gardening landscape and greenery in the neighborhood to keep it looking fresh. The Commonwealth contracts with Native Land Design for the community’s gardening needs. Crest Management oversees the landscaping company. 

The HOA would like to revive its Special Events Committee. Committee members would be responsible for organizing special events for the community, like children’s events, teen band night, card game nights, supper club, neighborhood BINGO, fishing tournaments, and many more. The approved events are supported by the HOA financially. Contact news@commonwealthcivic.com to share your ideas or if you would like to lead this committee.

With the creation of our Email Alert List, we no longer have a Crime Watch Committee. In the event of an emergency, we will ask that residents reach out to those on their block to assist in getting messages to all residents. We encourage you to join our Email Alert Distribution List. The HOA may occasionally host community-wide Safety/Security meetings and all residents will be advised and invited. If you would like to schedule and organize a community security meeting, please advise the board. If you have questions or need more information, contact newsletter@commonwealthcivic.com.
