The Commonwealth has numerous green areas with parks and trails throughout the beautiful neighborhood. The trails and sidewalks are regularly used by walkers, bikers and pets. Trails glide along a wooden foot-bridge through the woods in some areas, along beautiful hedges and trees in others, and in many places along waterways throughout the neighborhood.
The Knightsbridge park is located adjacent to the Commonwealth Clubhouse and the
pool, and is also known as the
Knightsbridge Park. This newly-renovated
playground and park has a
jungle gym, a zip line, play area for
toddlers like the baby carousel, baby
swings and slides, and a nearby
pavilion with benches. There are
plenty of large-trees to provide shade
in the park.
Located near Commonwealth
Elementary School, this newly-renovated
park is popular with children after school.
There are baby and regular swings, slide,
rockers and a balancing wheel.
Nestled in the woods of the Commonwealth is the Castlewood Park. There is a
play area with swings and a slide-set that actually resembles a castle design!
